Today, Monday, the First Deputy President of the Asian-African Parliamentary Council, Mr. Saud Rashid Al-Hujailan, and the Secretary-General of the Council, Mr. Fayez Al-Shawabkeh, held a meeting with the Head of the Administration of the Libyan House of Representatives, Mr. Abdullah Al-Masri Al-Fadil, to discuss the arrangements and preparations for the upcoming Asian-African Parliamentary Conference scheduled to be held in the city of Benghazi.

At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by the Deputy Head of the Administration, Dr. Rasmi Balrouin, and the Parliamentary Affairs Advisor, Mr. Ahmed Al-Hashash, the Head of the Administration welcomed the delegation, emphasizing the importance of Benghazi hosting this international event, which confirms the city’s readiness in all aspects to host regional and international events.

He also stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between African and Asian parliaments, noting that this conference plays a key role in consolidating parliamentary partnership and expanding prospects for joint cooperation among member states.
