The Head of the Administrative Office of the Libyan House of Representatives, Mr. “Abdullah Al-Masri Al-Fadil,” received at the Office headquarters in Benghazi the First Deputy Speaker of the Afro-Asian Parliamentary Council, Mr. “Saud Rashid Al-HUJAILAN,” accompanied by the Council’s Secretary-General, Mr. “Fayez Al-Shawabkeh,” and the accompanying delegation.
The delegation was also welcomed by the Deputy Head of the Administrative Office, Dr. “Rasmi Balrouin,” along with several directors of departments and offices.
Following the reception ceremony, the delegation toured the Office headquarters, including the parliamentary library, where they reviewed its collection of books, encyclopedias, and documents, in addition to the electronic library services and the modern cataloguing and classification systems used for managing resources.
The visit also included the training halls of the Office of Training and Development, where the delegation was briefed on the technical and logistical facilities dedicated to supporting training activities, as well as historical photographs documenting the various stages of Libya’s legislative authority.
The visit comes as part of ongoing preparations for the upcoming Afro-Asian Parliamentary Conference scheduled to be held in Benghazi.
